For such a short book, and one written for kids, this was a very creative story I love the sentient plant creatures and their crab predators are the stuff of nightmares even for us grown up readers I did read the first book in the Star Ka at series, so I was not completely lost, but I do wish I had read the series in order because there was obviously another adventure in between what I read before and this book, and the previous adventure was referenced enough to make me feel a bit out of the l [...]
