    1. This must be the sweetest cleanest love story there is out there, Katherine acts like a tomboy but she s a lady at heart and her sweet boy friend Nataniel is as sweet as the day is long You couldn t had a sweeter couple other wise then Raoul and Christine but that s another story, I would give it PG but that s it There are several sweet innocent kisses between them and some hand holding but that s not dangerous No, Nat does not look at Katherine while she s asleep, he doesn t go that far in thei [...]

    2. This is the first book in the Hearts and Dreams series, a saga that traces the story of a fictional family throughout American history through the lives of four young women Katherine Morrison is a teenage girl living in Boston just prior to the American Revolution She sides with her patriot father, and that distances her from her loyalist mother Kit, as she is called, desperately wants to play a part in fighting British tyranny, but as a girl, she is expected to help with the household chores un [...]

    3. This book is perfect It is a sweet and poignant historical fiction love story that tugs at my heart strings no matter how many times I read it.

    4. This is a very short, but lovable historical fiction book set near the start of the American Revolution It focuses on the life of a young girl living during that time who has a very revolutionary spirit While this book isn t a literary masterpiece it s fun and entertaining It is definitely a good book for young girls I don t think it s the type of book to be used in the classroom, but it is definitely one to use to help encourage reading.

    5. Cute and I liked the fact I actually learned about American history by simply reading YA.However, it s not a great outstanding special book or anything but very sweet On to book 2 in the series though

    6. Reread I had forgotten how much I loved this series when I was twelve Since I ve been to Boston, I also really understood the book than I did the first time I read it Ah, nostalgia.

    7. Had this book when I was in middle school and re read it today Unlike a lot of books I read back then, this one was actually still enjoyable now.
