    1. For all the Rob Liefield bashing that goes on, much of it deserved I think, the guy can create good concepts, even it it does takes others to fully realize what those concepts can be Much like what was done by Brandon Graham with Prophet, Keatinge builds on Liefield s and Alan Moore s work on Glory, taking her from a Wonder Woman knockoff and giving the reader a much developed mythology.Glory has a complicated family history which unfolds in this volume Two sisters, conflict with both of her pa [...]

    2. This is the second and final volume of Joe Keating s Glory Saga, and once again, Ross Campbell s art is the main selling point Fantastic monsters, elaborate armor, and lunatic heroes populate this story of nearly endless bloodshed It s difficult to pinpoint an actual plot after finishing the series I am in no way clear of the justification of the endless battle scenes why Glory s parents were previously at war with each other, why they made up, why Silverfell sent his armies to attack Glory, or [...]

    3. I finished reading this and I was very disappointed First of all, I picked up the last issue of the comic on a whim and I thought it was super cool It was labelled issue 31, and I wanted to see how they got to what seemed like a very powerful ending Well, I found out I read volume 1 and was amazed The story started with a young woman who had dreams about the past and future of Glory, a very powerful superhero, and was so mesmerized that she sought her out in the present day, then got recruited i [...]

    4. I must admit that I would not have read Glory if it wasn t for Ross Campbell doing the artwork Stories about superheros super beings from another dimension really aren t my thing but this one I really enjoyed The art was just SO good One of my favourite pages was when there was all the heros that Glory had worked with before showing up for the final battle and there were women and men of all different sizes and real diversity The story ended up being both tragic and sweet The reunion at the end [...]

    5. Ten times better than the first Volume I thought the first volume was slow and not full of the title character This volume fixes all that, full of WAR, Giant Monsters, all the superheros of Image and tons of Glory We finally get some real backstory to Glory and it is extremely interesting and well done The writers of this book really knew how to make an awesome Female hero in a kickass world My big problem with the last issue was the narrator of this story, Riley I found her annoying and mostly [...]

    6. Overall I enjoyed reading Glory, but I didn t like volume two quite as much as the first volume The creators decided to shorten the story they argued that it was for the good of the story but I m not entirely convinced it was Especially the last few issues felt a little rushed. That said, I really like Campbell s art and there were a few moments in the book were I had to laugh out loud the breakfast scene with dad comes to mind , since the story is pretty crazy kind of in a good way.Even though t [...]

    8. Way better than the first volume, this is still a plot free gorefest I did like the different art styles used for the fun little interludes of Glory s adventures with Hemingway, Picasso and Co, and I love the all shapes, all sizes, properly diverse cast of characters But the main art is pretty ugly, and Nanaja looks like one of those naff tongue out mannequins that model cheap leather coats to goths in Camden Market.

    9. The second volume of the Keating Campbell saga rebooting Rob Liefeld s 90 s extreme femme fatale cashgrab character, concludes its in an amazing way Glory s legacy of a family torn by war, and everyone caught in the middle has an incredible mix of emotions, heightened by incredible layouts by Campbell. There s a Complete Saga volume now Collecting the whole run containing Vol 1 War Torn, and this one If you like this type of story I recommend that collected edition better.

    10. Glory was a great comic and the real weakness in this volume is wrapping up such an expansive story in a handful of issues I can only assume the abruptness of the ending was a consequence of the book being cancelled because the first volume set up a big story and this second volume ran around wrapping everything up very quickly It was a strong ending to the story considering all that But it just left me wishing we had time.

    12. I ve never read Glory before by Rob Liefeld or any one else as I followed the series only when writer Joe Keatinge and artist Ross Campbell took over Campbell s art is as unique as it is unusual and it really grew on me I enjoyed the heck out of their contributions and since they ve wrapped up I too will check out of any other Glory work unless their names are attached.

    13. 3.5 really since like this book kind of lost its way a bit and the ending wasweird the impact of the event was minimal for me i liked it well enough but hmmm i might change it later lol it was kind of stupid.

    14. This is everything I ever wanted in a comic book and it got ripped away from me I don t know what is it with badass warrior ladies only getting two volumes The ending was rushed axed, but it s still one of the best comics I ever read in my life.

    15. What a frustrating read The drawing was just beautiful and the story had so much potential, but I really think Mr Keatinge tried to fit too much into too few issues I wish this could have been expanded to give depth to an awesome storyline.

    16. Glory and her friends go up against her psycho sister, their parents and their family s gods in the conclusion of this series Good, if rather downbeat in the conclusion.

    17. I m still accustoming myself to the art style, but I definitely enjoy this take on the Glory mythos I read it in a single sitting and I m totally picking the 3rd volume.
